Remember Me?

So I am stealing this one from a good friend, but I liked it! So here goes:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, post a comment that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

Okay. What to choose? What to choose? Here are some favs. Topping the list has got to be our detour to Italy after we got scared out of Switzerland. Remember how scary that train was, but the best was our outfits that we sported around Rome. Bandanna, no make-up, etc. We were definitely hot! I remember many a time with you wearing your cute little apron at the table while doing elementary crafts in college. Oh, and do you remember the smallest room in the history of life in France where we couldn't fit any luggage in so we had to take turns bringing in our bag to put on the bed. Fun times! The funny thing is when I was in high school, I would have never imagined having such a wonderful friend in you. There are many things that you have said that have had a great influence on me, and I am so grateful for your friendship. Love you!!

Ah, Kristi Lynn. Like Heidi says there are too many to name!! We had the best freakin time in Birch Plaza 305, I know that much! I remember Davey coming to town and me, you, and Terri dressing like skater chics. I remember the ridiculous beads hanging from your doorway and I wanted to knock them down every time you guys moved them in the wee hours of the morning! :) I remember blasting Creed and the dixie chics on the radio while we all got ready.

GOOD TIMES!

P.S. I come to Utah tomorrow so let's set something up!

Kristi,

You have cracked me up numerous times. 9th grade, geometry class, I can't for the life of me remember our teacher's name. He was dull and boring. The track team had a competition and needed runners. You and I went to get out of math. So out of shape and street clothes to boot we ran the race. On the bus ride home I think we still glad we went instead of going to math. Oh yeah and right before the race you popped about 5 caffeine pills. Don't know if they helped.

One of my memories of you Kristi was when Derek was on his mission, and you came to stay the night with us--which gave me a little hope that you thought we were normal!-(sorry to mislead you:D)We stayed up into the wee hours of the morning with you telling me about the orphanages in Quito and us crying together. It still brings tears to my eyes! Since then there have been many great memories with you, mostly laughing at something we shouldn't have been laughing at! My favorite have been the two times I watched you bring my beautiful grandchildren into the world-didn't quite make it to Alli's. You were amazing! LOVE YA! Dianne

Surely this goes against blogging etiquette, but friends are friends right? #1 Skating in Tooele in tough guy/girl clothing after waking up to Davey's insanely loud stereo and catching Davey wearing knee pads under his baggy pants. #2 Ditching the guys to hang out with you and Terri and getting busted at Sconecutter in the drive through and getting my poor little car pelted with dozens of snowballs by the guys. #3 Driving down to the WV for Josiah's farewell in Terri's car wherein you are both crying for an hour strait and turning around and coming home. One of the first great learning experiences where I came to understand that sometimes, I should just sit in the back of the car and not ask any questions. #4 Long phone calls from Logan about you and Derek and me and Rachel. #5 Derek telling me that I shouldn't date Dru and that my missionary part needed to go.
So my real intention in posting this is to get back in touch with you guys. New phone, lost Derek's number. Send an email adam426@gmail.com and http://adamandrachelfamily.blogspot.com/
