What Do You Need?

So I am sitting here on the floor of my new apartment thinking to myself "If I could have 5 things what would they be?".  Yes folks, We are still without any of our stuff and it will be at least another week before we get anything.

First week I thought "No big deal, it's fine."
Second week "I will look back on this and laugh--memories"
Third week "Where in the world is our stuff, and who do I have to kill?" "COME ON!"

So I have decided to make a list of my top five things I miss the most.

1. Kid's Toys--They get so bored and have nothing to play with.

2. Rocking Chair--I have nowhere to rock my baby or read books with my kids (plus no books) I have to sit on the floor to nurse (sorry if that is TMI) and it is getting way old.

3. Couches--I love my couches!

4. Microwave--Man that thing makes my life so much easier! I can live without it, but why would I?

5. Vacuum--My floors are disgusting!

So, What is it that you need?

Oh Man. i really feel bad for you. You must be a patient woman because the first few days i would have been thinking "i'll look back on this and laugh - memories" and then next few days it would have been who do i kill!! You don't want to see me the 2nd or 3rd week!!
But i would have to say the top 5 things i need most are:
1. Toys for kids is huge (namely books, bikes and blankeys.)
2. T.V. - i know, im not getting the mother of the year award for this but i need it! Sparadically through the day i just need to sit them down and shut them up and thats where the tv comes in.
3. Couches for sure.
4. My bed!
5. My car. I hate being without a car.

Oh my heck! Your patience is incredible. Another week? What in the world are those moving Bozo's doing? I'm so sorry for you guys. I would be going nuts. Maybe just get a camping chair or two from Wal-mart to hold you over so you don't have to nurse on the floor. I think my top 5 things would be similar to yours. I'd also have to add a nearby Chick-fil-a. I love that place and I definitely need for little friends to always be available to play with my Ash so that we can avoid the drama. Anyhow, I hope your stuff gets there soon. Love you!!!

I don't know what I would bring, can I have more than five? just kidding:

1) definitely my bed, air mattress would kill me, and when I sleep on one with adam it is always deflated in the morning:)

2)I would need pots and pans to cook with, being at my mom's helped me to realize that one, its hard to cook much with only a giant kettle!

3)All the Elmo and sesame street paraphenalia I could get my hands on! The first thing noah says when he wakes up is "mwah ahh ahh" like the count, and when he cries he calls for "mel-mo" so you can see where the necessity would come in!

4)The internet. enough said.

5)Finally, the thing I just can't live without....my scrapbooking stuff! What would I do while they were sleeping, especially if I didn't have bed!

Oh man I can't believe you still haven't gotten your stuff!! I would be going insane.

So this is fun to think about. I think I would need:

1. my swiffer floor duster (best invention ever!)
2. Clean underoos!
3. Cell phone
4. Peanut Butter
5. A muzzle for Drew (I kid) Drew's toys.

Ashley-I am laughing my head off right now at your comment. :) (Sorry Erin).

I will think of more fun things because from the sounds of it, I will have nothing but time. They still aren't scheduled to leave. Grrrr!

Kristi-I can feel your pain! You sound about as uncomforatble as I am riding these two horses out to Maine....inside story line, huh! Tell Derek to apologize to Aspen & Me! What would the five things be that I would absolutely need...
1.) chocolate
2.) chocolate
3.) chocolate
4.) chocolate
5.) a Weight Watchers membership

Ha! Tel Erin to leave my pans alone! She must not approve of the cooking utensils at this casa, but no one is loosing weight around here so I think my electric frying pan does it all! Who needs more than 2 pans anyway as long as we have L.J.'s! Hope you get your stuff soon! Love your bunz-Dianne

PS-What is Erika's blog address so I can thank her for my Twilgiht Sticker--I love it! (I would like to say my hubby loves it too, but that would be a lie!!) Ha!
