Just stuff

I lost my keys this week (yes again). I had searched everywhere and I still could not find them. Derek was trying to be nice and help me find them, but he really wanted to beat me I am sure. We tore the entire house apart and finally Derek said I bet they're in the garbage. I decided to go garbage digging, and sure enough there they were at the bottom covered in bacon and egg grease (NASTY). Alli loves to throw things away and get stuff out of the garbage and must have thrown them in. What a helper! I was so glad I checked before we had garbage pickup the next day!

I was doing laundry and started spraying shout on some clothes after about the third shirt I looked down and realized I had been spraying windex on them instead. Where is my brain?

Kennedy- Mom look at that car it has no roof.
Mom- Yup, that is cool.
Kennedy- Yeah, it is totally cool but I bet he can't wash his car because he would get soap in his eyes.
Mom- (couldn't tell her about how it worked because I was laughing so hard)

Kennedy's school went to the police station on a field trip. When she got home she was telling me all about it.

Kennedy- Mom did you know they have a gun room?
Me- No, did you see it?
Kennedy-Yes. And we also saw a gross toilet.
Me- What?
Kennedy-Oh, don't worry mom it is for the bad people to use not us. If you are bad you have to sit in this room and use the gross toilet. I do not want to be bad!
Me- Well that is good.
Kennedy- No mom it is very very bad and gross.

Xander- Mom I love you so much.
Mom- You do?
Xander- Yes, but sometimes I no love you.

I just wanted to write these down so I remembered them. What funny little ones I have.

I've started to write down some of the stuff my kids say too. They make our lives interesting don't they?
Audrey used to put a lot of stuff in the garbage too. We lost about 7 remote controls before we zeroed in on her:)

Those stories are hilarious, I need to be better at writing things down, if I can't do it for one how can I do it for another, you are amazing! About losing your mind...I have a story about that! The other night we were playing rook and I had this wicked awesome hand, I had from ten up on the trump color, and a few other low ones, all i had to do was just play it out like a normal person, well it came down to the wire all i had left were the high trumps and for some reason I decided to play the lowest of them, the ten, and i was second to last to play, turns out the next guy had the eleven red, I had totally forgotten that eleven even existed between ten and twelve! They got like twenty points in that hand all because I am a dork!! I literally almost cried, who does that?? Love you!

Alright, so kids are cute, especially yours. Reading this helped me feel less mad at Cailin and love her and my other two more. She kicked off a glass bowl full of buttered rice onto our tile floor this afternoon. Rice everywhere (one of the worst things to pick up...can't sweep it, a hands on experience). I had just spent two hours catching up in the kitchen and moping and scrubbing the floor from all that sticky cereal Bryan loves to throw across the room when he is done with breakfast, sometimes lunch and dinner too. Anyway, I lost it and now I am feeling guilty, being a mom is the tops, yeah?
