On Saturday Kennedy and Xander sang Christmas songs at the Creche. The creche is something they do here in our stake and it is absolutely beautiful. People allow the church to borrow their nativities to be displayed for the weekend and then they invite the community into our church to see all the different ones. There are over 400 nativities and different art work throughout the building and they have a special place for little kids to do crafts, make cookies, dress up, and put on a puppet show.

Here they are singing songs for anyone who was visiting and wanted to listen. I didn't have Alli with me and so I just got to watch and listen to my children enjoy themselves on stage. It really was special for me and I am so glad we participated.
We then went to the "kids room" to enjoy ourselves.

We also decorated some yummy cookies.

We also colored and made baby Jesus ornaments that are so adorable! The kids had a great time!

We stuck around long enough that Kennedy wanted to be in the play. She of course chose to be a lamb and played her part amazingly. :) She "baa"ed the entire 25 minutes.

I had such a wonderful and peaceful time. I fell in love with the creche exhibit and am so glad our stake puts so much time and effort into making it special and Christ centered.
We also had our first snow yesterday. The kids were ecstatic!

learning to throw snowballs

Making good use out of our beach toys
It definitely is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
