Friday we were at the beach, Saturday we dyed Easter eggs, enjoyed the park, and watched conference, and Sunday we enjoyed a marathon day with friends by eating a delicious brunch, watching conference, egg hunting, watching more conference, and then a lot more eating.
Dying eggs is serious business!
Most of our Easter eggs were Aliens this year (much to my dismay mind you). Derek surprised Xander by making an alien one and then the next dozen eggs made by Kennedy and Xander were Alien inspired. What happened to flowers, bunnies, and chicks I don't know but they loved every single alien they produced.
Conference was wonderful!!! It is always so rejuvinating and very much needed. I can't even pin point one talk that stood out because I thought they were all wonderful.
Easter Morning

Easter Morning
Xander woke up first and was super excited to find the "Easter Bunny" had come. (I didn't tell them before they went to bed). They were very happy to find treats and toys in their buckets.

Easter Sunday
Conference with friends and yummy food--what could be better?
Keeping the kiddos occupied.
Derek had to sit with the little ones because he wasn't being reverent. ;)
Conference was wonderful!!! I loved so many of the talks and came away wanting to be a better mother and example of the Savior. It is so great that we get a HUGE pep talk every six months--just what I needed.
Between sessions we decided to have a hunt for the kiddos.
Between sessions we decided to have a hunt for the kiddos.
It was over very quickly and I had to stage a few photos, but that is every mother's right!!!
Xander and Alli's "We got it" pose!
HAPPY EASTER!
