Derek had a work conference in Boston and the kids and I decided to tag along. It was GREAT (cold, but great!) Our first day we decided to take the subway into the heart of the city and walk around.
I love how in between these new giant buildings you would have old historic monuments/buildings.

We went to a huge mall and have fun playing, shopping, and visting the American Girl store.
We had lunch in the store and the girls loved every minute of it!!!
Alli and her happy face
this girl couldn't stop smiling!
This boy had to tag along and I found him stabbing the dolls in the eye with toothpicks and trying to put the dishes on the heads. All Boy that one and not too impressed with AG. He was a good sport though.
We also went to the Science Museum. It is huge and there is soo much to see. We didn't stay for too long because we were all tired and hungry, but we were able to see some beautiful butterflies.......

I love all your adventures. It seems like you don't have to go very far to be in a new location back east.
I just saw this cute project that I think would be adorable with your kids help.

Go check it out. You could simplify it with paper and tissue paper for the blossoms.
So much fun! I wish we could travel back east. If we ever do we are coming your way!
That looks super fun!! Noah esp. loved the Triceratops fossil, so cool!! I had to laugh at Xander and the dolls because I don't remember a single barbie that wasn't missing a leg or chunk of hair because of my older brother:) I guess its another hard wired trait of boys!! Love you guys!! How was the anniversary...hope you have pics!!
