I just might attempt it. I swore I would wait until he was three but I am sick and tired of changing my sons diapers. He is not all the way on board, but I think I want to give him a little push.
Any helpful suggestions? Kennedy was really easy and so I don't know how to go about it this time. I would appreciate any ideas or things that helped you.
Wish me luck!

My advice is.....take luck, in case you need any, take it, cherish it... brian reagon is a wise man!! I love you let me know what works because I will be there soon enough! Love you!
Best of luck Kristy... hate to say it but Colby took forever to be ready... like 3.5y... I thank God all the time for the child finally using the toilet! :) I hear girls are easier and I am hoping so!
Sorry girl, I always tend to spell your name wrong.
Kristi-choose your battles! If he is not ready it is not worth it to have him hate you and you hate him! This is the voice of experience speaking!!:) Jo Mamma
Zac didn't potty train until 3 1/2, Lindsey on the other hand was like 2 1/2. I wait until they are ready so I'm not on clean up patrol all the time. I would rather change a diaper then change a whole outfit because of an accident. Boys will be boys!!!
The dreaded potty-training. I'm on the same road with you. My cute friend gave me this idea, and I have used it. It worked for a little while and then the holidays came and we were never home and it went down the drain. Anyhow, we now have a fish bowl next to our potty where when he goes on the potty, he gets to feed the fish. Only like one flake, so we don't kill little "otter", but he loves it. I'm horrible and put away some of the trucks that he got for Christmas (my mom and dad spoil them like crazy), and so when he does a #2, he gets a new toy. He still is scared for some reason of the #2 though. He has done it and he now seems more scared of it, so I am trying to figure out a new plan for that. Good Luck!!
I hate potty-training so all I can say really is good luck. My strategy with Chloe was to buy a house with no carpet (which we did) and just let her have underwear on and clean the accidents. She caught on pretty fast. My sister-in-law let me borrow a book "Potty-training in a day# or something like that. Almost drove me mad just trying it on Lucas. This day will be remembered as the worst day of my mothering life!!!
Good luck and good to see you're on Facebook!!!! We can chat, yeah!!!!
