Birthday Celebration

Last Sunday we decided to celebrate Alli's Birthday because Derek would be gone on her actual birthday. We came home from church and while Alli took a nap we got busy making her cake. Kennedy and I decided to make a Yellow kitty cake because I didn't want to attempt a Dora one. Alli loves to play kitty and loves the color yellow so Kennedy thought it would be a great idea.
Kennedy helped me with the cake

Xander helped me make the icing
and they both helped me lick the spoons. :)

Alli's "lellow kitty" cake

When she woke from her nap she was ready to celebrate. Derek had decorated the kitchen with balloons and streamers and she was so excited. She knew exactly what to do and enjoyed being in the spotlight. She sang "Happy Birthday" to herself and thought it was great.

Blowing out the candles

She loved all of her presents and was busy playing with them before we could get all of the paper off them.

New purse and Cinderella polly pocket

Magna Doodle was a hit and we even managed to lose a piece within 10 minutes of opening it.
Bubble Dog

Kennedy's and Xander's favorite present by far.

Popping bubbles with her polly. :)

The cake was yummy and Alli was happy, so it was a great celebration. I can't believe my baby is two and that she is no longer a baby. She is talking so much and has such personality. We just love our little Bell!!!

Kristi! Alli is so cute! I am glad she had such a great birthday. You always make them special and I think you always do a great job on the cake! I need to be more creative and do that as I love to bake and decorate but I usually end up being in too big a hurry to make one but I wish I did. All of the kiddos are so cute. Hope you are getting some warmer weather now! Love, Michelle

She is such a Cutie! I love the cake & it looked like it was a FUN day! :o) I just wanted to make sure you knew that you & your family are invited to Brett & I's reception this Saturday (the 27th) at 2. It's held at the Stake Center. An invitation was put up at church but I wasn't sure how many people actually saw it. Hope to see you there! :o)
