4th of July Parade
Waiting for the parade to begin
The veterans that made me stand up and cry like a baby as they walked by
Derek getting his fundraiser on--poor guy.
Maine cloggers baby! Maybe next year I will join them, but I almost think you have to be over 50.
Cute girls waving their flags
Alli wanted a pic of just her flag and not her face
Xander waiting for the candy to rain down.
Parades are really hard for me. I don't really enjoy sitting and sweating in the sun for a few pieces of dirty candy, but the kiddos think it's great-so I go. This year though I was especially disappointed because I feel like it was all advertising and no "sparkle"or fun. I might be crazy, but parades just aren't what they used to be. (Did I just say that? Man I am OLD)

I feel the same way about parades. I think next year I will buy the boys a bag of candy and take him to the lake instead. :)
Our parade in Aberdeen consisted of emptying all of the cars out of the Cardinal parking lot and driving them down mainstreet!!! It was boring and the candy wasn't near as plentiful as last year!! I think the economy is to blame!
