My friend Jessica and I took our kids to the lake in July and we had a wonderful time (how could you not with this view). It is so great because we each of 3 kiddos and they each have a friend their age. They all played together while Jessica and I chatted away--what could be better? :)

They played in the sand and made castles and holes to sit in.They swam their hearts out and spent a lot of time looking for interesting rocks along the bottom. Maddi and Xander tried swimming after ducks a few times but were unsuccessful in catching them. :)
