Well after 6 months of waiting to get my hair done I finally broke down and got it done here in Arizona instead of by my wonderful sister. I usually wait until I visit Utah and then I have my sister work her magic on my gnarly hair but after trying to get Utah two times and both times falling through, I decided that something must be done with the mop on top of my head. I asked around and a few of my friends in the ward went to the same salon, they are all adorable so I was excited to have finally found someone to go to. I showed up on Wednesday and loved the girl and I had a wonderful time talking and being pampered. She did a great job on my highlights and then she started cutting away.
This was the end result!

The sad thing is not only do I look like heinous, but it was all my fault. She did exactly what I asked her to do. The problem is that because she wasn't my sister (who would have told me the truth and said "that will not look good") she just did what I asked and now I am left with my very bad mistake until it grows out. :( I thought I would try and be stylish and modern and I got ugo and futuristic! So that is my story and I hope none of you have to go through it. Good luck with your salon trips, I hope they don't turn out like mine.

Wait. your hair is now short, red, and made of yarn?? Let's see a real picture!! I bet it is not that bad.. you are always so cute!
I know that is disappointing though. Especially if it was as expensive as what I pay sometimes. UGH!
Hey I liked the picture you sent on my phone! Erin says you look great!
put a real picture up and show us the real thing!!!
love ya
Hey there girlie Sorry I couldn't make it out there to you with my stuff to color your hair! I'm sure you look amazing and skinny too. Well love you and wish I was able to always do your hair! Miss You all! oh ya Alli is to damn cute!!!
Kristi-You could shave your head and still be darling to us! I do laugh because I have an entry in my journal that says: "I, Dianne Poulson, being of sound mind and short hair vow that if I am ever tempted to cut it short again I will read this journal and NOT DO IT!!" Even with that in there, I have cut it again several hundred times-Slow Learner!! I bet you look awesome and even if you don't like it, it will be grown out in two months-it takes me two decades!! Love ya! Dianne
