Care Bears, Cats, and Vampires, Oh MY!
Last night was our ward trunk-or-treat and my litte Poulson's were more than excited to dress up, play games, and get candy.

I just love this little face!
Alli was so funny about her costume. She first wanted to be a leaf, then a wall (yup a wall), then a purple butterfly, cinderella, a cheerleader, and lastly a pink carebear. She is the one who gave me the idea for mine and Derek's costume, and after she saw us dressed up there was no persuading her to be something else. Who could refuse that face?
Xander the Vampire
He also was very convincing!
He wanted to be a vampire and never changed his mind....until he saw his black hair. :) He did not like the way he looked with dark hair and kept saying over and over, I don't like being a vampire, I don't like how vampires look with black hair. He got over it once he started getting candy. :)

I am quite lame in decorating department for sure!Alli was freezing and opted to eat her candy in the car while she waited for Kennedy and Xander to be done. Xander was a maniac. He made the rounds about 4 times before I could catch up with him. He had one thing on his mind...CANDY and got lots of it!
My kids had a great time and that is what is important, but I myself am not a big fan of trunk-or-treating. I like the old school way of walking to houses actually yelling "trick-or treat" to get someone to come to the door. I love handing out candy from a bowl in a warm house and actually seeing kids faces because of a lighted porch. That being said, trunk-or-treats are great for little ones and definitely get the job done.

I had to take a picture of my grumpy carebear pumping gas. :) He got a few stares that had nothing to do with a bears belly. He was not thrilled with me taking his pic either.

The Kids look really cute and you and derek look awesome! I love the hearts on the bum;) Whenever I see your girls I think it would be so fun to have little girlies instead of just girly boys....just kidding! I love the pic of Derek pumping gas! I really wish we got to celebrate holidaze with you guys you make them so fun!
Oh man that care bear idea is hysterical! I'm surprised you got Derek to go along with that. I love that he had to pump gas with the whole get-up on too. good times.
