Xan Man the Soccer Fan

I signed Xander up for soccer this year, and he was a stud! He was a great listener and a pretty good little baller. :) He had several friends from school on his team and it was so fun/funny to watch them play ball together. We were suppose to have a night game under the lights to end the season, but it was raining so hard that day that they brought the game inside.
Xander and Shaylee
(she came up after the game and gave him a big hug and told him he played great--so cute!)
I just want to squeeze both of their cheeks
They started with a few warm ups
I was very impressed with his balance skills
He was chosen to play goalie and boy did he PLAY goalie. :) He was AWESOME, and I'm not just saying that because I am his mom, he really was super! He didn't let a single ball through and he was sliding and diving all over the place to make sure no one scored on him.
He did get a little bored at times waiting for the ball to come back down :)
getting ready to kick it out to his team
He didn't want to leave his goalie post, but I made him let the other kids have a turn. As soon as he got into the game he dribbled the ball down (with his feet of course) and scored a goal! I was so happy to see his smiling face and his jumps for joy. What a fun boy I have!
So here is Xan Man the Soccer Fan!
Isn't he so cute?

Way to go Xander!!! He is so cute!!! We need to figure out a way for him to come and teach some of his listening skills to his friend Carter. The kid was ridiculous in soccer this year. It was hilarious, but ridiculous! Anytime someone would come running toward him because he happened to be by the ball, he'd pull out a "hi-ya" with some karate chop move. That kid!
