Christmas Morning

Santa came!

Derek and I woke up to pitter pattering of little feet. Kennedy woke up first and hurried downstairs to check things out, she then ran up and down several times getting Xander and Alli to follow her. :) By the time I got downstairs she had found the pillow pet she had been asking for forever and was showing the other two all of the exciting things Santa brought. Xander liked his pillow pet too and Alli wanted to sleep on hers immediately.

We had a great morning opening presents, playing, and relaxing. Derek made our traditional omlette breakfast and it was fantastic!!! The kids ate candy for breakfast and didn't ask for any other food until 4:00 pm. We watched movies, ate, and slept--it was great!

This is Derek guessing what is inside his present. He learned this from his dad and it makes me laugh everytime.

We also opened our gift to Jesus and talked about the acts of service we did for others this month. They were great at finding ways to serve others and were so happy to share their experiences with the family. It was definitely a highlight for me!
