Alli had a little mishap the other night and broke her toe. She was standing on her toy box trying to turn off the light and the lid shifted. I was out of the room and just heard a scream that shook the house. I run to her room and Derek was rocking her to calm her down. I took one look at her toes and almost lost it. Her second toe was laying horizontal over her big toe. I really had a hard time looking or even thinking about it. Derek it popped it back over and then it went right back. It was so sad and she was wimpering and screaming. I of course wanted to go right to the ER but it was night and Derek was positive they would do nothing for a toe that night. :( We gave her some tylenol and rocked her to sleep while I teared up when listening to her wimper. It was so sad!
The next day she wouldn't put any pressure on it and wouldn't let anyone come near it. We had to carry the princess around for most of the day and then she finally started figuring out a way to move on her own. (I wish I had video of it) We took her to the Doc and got X-rays and found out she had dented her bone not fractured it. She is still little enough that her bones are still soft I guess. The doc said she must have had a pretty nasty experience for it to get dented like that.
:(
She is still not walking quite normal and probably won't for another couple of weeks. I don't know what I am going to do with my Alli. She gets hurt more than my other two put together. She sure is a funny girl, and her "new" walk makes me laugh out loud. :)

Oh sad! I'm sorry sweet Alli! Poor mom too! I hope she is running around like her normal cute self soon.
