Kennedy got her ears pierced!
She couldn't stop talking about it all day and then when it finally was time, she didn't talk, smile, or show any emotion. I was a little worried that she had changed her mind, but she wouldn't answer me when I tried to ask her if she wanted to wait a little longer. When it was time to choose what color of earrings I thought for sure she would choose purple or pink, but she choose her birthstone and didn't even know it was her birthstone. :)

I was waiting for a little flinch or a tiny yelp or anything, but got nothing. I thought she was unhappy with her choice to get her ears pierced.
When it finally was all said and done I had her smile for the camera and asked why she was so quiet and sad. She said she was very happy but just didn't want to talk or move so that they wouldn't mess up and get them crooked. :) She was definitely focused! She loves her earrings and takes such great care of them. She reminds me to clean them 2 or 3 times a day and twists them like a champ. She tells everyone about them and is so happy to have big girl earrings!
