Six in Ten

My sister-in-law tagged me with this one and it has definitely gotten me thinking. Scary. I am suppose to list six things I want to accomplish in the next ten years. Here it goes:

1. I would like to return to school and get a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.

2. My Husband and I would like to go to South America (Peru or Ecuador) and serve a medical mission.

3. Learn to speak Spanish fluently.

4. Take my family to Disneyland and DisneyWorld.

5. Own a home! I really want to build the same house as my in-laws. I love it! I know this is wishful thinking, but it would be my "dream home."

6. I want to be healthier. I would like to become a runner. I think this is my most difficult one, but I really want to run in marathons. I have heard that it is such a great feeling when you cross the finish line. I want my kids to learn from me, that healthy bodies are important. I want to be an example to my kids.

These are just a few, and now that I am thinking about it, there seems to be lots more coming to mind. I hope I have 10 years to try to get these things done, but I need to get on it now. :) I am kind of a slacker!

I tag anyone who wants to do this.

HOLA Senorita! :) ha ha

Ok I didn't know you wanted to do speech pathology? That is so cool! You should totally do it. And that would be so neat to serve a mission in So. America. My brother and my sister-in-law are in charge of a charity that sets up orphanages down there (I keep forgetting to tell you about that!) I think they are kind of partnered with the same guy that ran the one in Ecuador.

Anyway that was kind of off the subject. Good goals though Kris! :)

Hey Kristi! Your goals make mine look really pathetic- but they sound like great things to work for. It does make my cringe a little to think of you running, because of your heals; but I know you could do it. I love your guys's pictures; Derek is so funny and such a good husband, and I love your kids dearly. Kennedy's hair is getting long again; I like how it is growing out one length. You guys are so fun and I cherish the time we were able to spend together at the end of this last summer. So nice of you guys to make the effort to come see everyone because I know it is expensive! Anyway, talk to you soon!

Kristi-you can build my house, I'll even give you the land--right next to me!!! I really think you would love Aberdeen and they would love you! I think you would find a good friend and be totally fine with living here. It has been a great place to raise my children and to not worry about them as far as being abducted! (Except by aliens):)Love to have you that close-and the rest of my crew!

You would be a great speech pathologist. Those little ones that struggle with that need someone encouraging and motivating like you. Maybe we should go to Disneyworld together. We are good travel buddies. That is one of my goals too. We have our little change bucket that everyone knows is the Disneyworld fund. The rest of those are great goals as well. Go Kristi go!!
