She got her 5 stickers!

I knew that as soon as Xander received his Build-a-Bear for good sleeping behavior Kennedy would not be far behind--it was the motivation she needed. She earned her 5 stickers and is now the owner of her very own Hannah Montana Build-a-Bear (she liked it because it was purple not because it was H.M) she was so excited and extremely proud of herself. I tried to get her to wait for the weekend to go build her bear, but we HAD to go that day. :) Here is Kennedy's experience:

Stuffing her bear
(she was very picky about the softness of her bear)

Getting her heart ready to go inside

Giving her a little brush and wash
(I love her huge smile)

Dressing her bear in a hoodie and skirt

Concentrating so very hard

Finished and looking good!

Giving her a name...SALLY
(she was so happy when I said it was a great name)

Boxed up and ready to go home with one happy girl

Sally needed a ride before she left

Kennedy thought she would be lonely
in the box and better ride with her.

They had to eat dinner with us too-of course!!
I will tell you that I am really happy my kids earned their stickers and I love that bed time around our house is fairly a breeze now. I am so glad they accomplished their goal and Derek and I did too! Hope it lasts. :)

Kristi-your kids are so cute! I loved the pj pictures! I can't wait till it is cool enough for my kids to get into some warm pjs! Love build a bear. Bribery is a wonderful thing, isn't it? :)
She is such a doll. I can not believe how big she is getting. We walk past the bear store all the time and luckily Raylee has not figured out what it is because I want to use it for bribery later too! Great idea from a great mom! Love keeping up with you through blogs!
Congratulations! Way to go, Kennedy!
That is such a good idea:) that build a bear stuff is pretty cute! I love that you get to pick out the heart;) They both looked so happy building their bears. maybe i will use this same idea to get what i want from Mark! Does that lady at build a bear work there alot?:)
Yay for Kennedy! She looks so happy during her whole Build-a-Bear experience. She is so cute! I'm glad bed time is a lot easier for you. It's so hard to be patient, loving, and kind when it is the end of the day and they should be in bed already! Way to stick to your guns and let Xander go ahead and get his. It's so hard to watch the other one be sad when they didn't earn it and the sibling did. You are a wonderful Mom.
