Tuesday was the first day of school for my "babies". Derek was off to CRNA School and Kennedy had her first day of Pre-School. Aren't they adorable? :)
Kennedy has been waiting to go to school for what seems like forever. She is such a social girl and loves to play and learn. She picked out her school outfit herself and looked so grownup. I can't believe how fast they grow up on you. (sigh) Xander wanted to take a picture with his big sister and cried because he didn't have a back pack. :)
I thought I would share a few photos of her big day
This is Kennedy in front of her school but she is too embarrassed to take a picture because other kids are watching (she is so my girl).
She went in found her name tag really fast and got to hang it up on the tree.
She went straight to the sand table and told me "good-bye mom you can go."
I left really happy knowing that she really needed school and was so excited, but I was also sad knowing that she is growing up so fast--too fast.

I was hoping you would be posting today:) That is crazy both your babies went to school! Derek looks great, Im so excited for him and this school!!!! Give him a big hug from me would ya:) Kennedy is so funny she would not take a picture:) Her little school looks so cute and she seemed to warm up to it pretty quick! HOw long is she at her preschool every day? It looks like it was a great day for all of you except xander:) Did you guys get your stuff??

Derek went to pre-school and Kennedy went to Anesthiology School??? Ha! Ha! We are proud of them both and miss you all so much! Hope you got your stuff!

I am so proud of you and your little babies, I have been meaning to call and ask how Derek is doing with school. Kennedy is so grown up I was just thinking about her last night and how she will be four soon, tell her to stop growing, I can't take not being there to witness it! I am hoping to get a web cam for my birthday so we will be able to chat and see each other and the kids can see each other! Miss you guys so much! Kiss your kids for me!
