My good friend Heidi tagged me and I had to come up with six quirks about myself. They should've been on my lame list but here they are anyway.

1. I prefer putting my make-up on in the car. Strange I know, but I do none-the-less. I don't know how I got into the habit of it, but now it is very hard for me to break it. I know I am going to get a ticket or worse forget to apply it before going somewhere and scare an innocent bystander but I do it anyway. Crazy! I know.
2. I am very "quirky" about laundry. I don't know why.
- whites
- unmentionables
- levis
- lights colors
- dark colors
- reds
- bath towels (can't use fabric softner)
- wash cloths (bleached then washed a second time)
- Baby clothes by themselves with free and clear
- Kids separate from ours but separated the same as above
I also hate to dry my clothes in a dryer. I prefer to line dry everything pretty much.
Quirky or just a Freak?
3. I have to save leftovers even if I know no one is going to eat them. It is silly really, but I put leftovers in a container and place them in the fridge knowing that in about a week I will have to clean out my fridge and find the item growing some type of nasty fungus. I just can't throw away good food, I have to wait until it is inedible.
4. I get my kids pictures professionally taken each month for the first year of their life. I know it may be ridiculous but I like the end result (because I can see how much they change). It is a nightmare most of the time though. What we do for scrapbooks. :)
5. I pick at everything. I can't stand anything uneven or bumpy on my skin and have to pick at it until it is gone or turns into a mess. I pick myself, kids, husband, and anyone else who will let me. It is totally gross and I waste so much time doing it, but I still do it.
6. For some odd reason I have a hard time shutting cupboards and drawers. I will be sitting in the other room and hear Derek mumble some annoyed comments and then I hear doors and drawers slamming shut. He used to think I did it on purpose just to annoy him, but after 6 years of marriage he just deals with it realizing that I am a goober. :)

That is funny. You do have a laundry fetish. I can relate with the leftovers and the picking for sure. We hope you guys are getting settled and happy at your new home!
I liked your comment about the toilet! that made me smile. Im going to think of my quirks and post them soon. And yes I think we bought a home yesterday! But im not doing those cabinets anymore.
Kristi-you tagged me??? What language do you want me to reply in?? I honestly can't think of any quirks that I have-now it is Ashley's turn to die laughing...Maybe my darling children who criticize me constantly could help me out....:)But YOU do have some quirks--if I did my laundry like you do I would never, never, never be out of my laundry room! But then again my towels wouldn't reek either! I love Erikas' laundry room that says "Laundry....Loads of fun!!" So true! Come on girls, what are my quirks--and don't forget Christmas is coming...Mama Mia
You crack me up with the laundry thing. I wish I was that patient to do all of that. I'm sure our clothes would be in far better condition. I remember you in college staying up to the wee hours of the morning "picking". You are fabulous. You forgot the major clausterphobic quirk. I have a slight case and anytime my husband complains I always say it could be worse- Dereck has to have separate covers. Love you!!!!
