Lenoard's Mill

Day 2 was spent walking around (after it took me 1.5 hrs to find it, when it is only 20 mins away) Lenoard's Mill enjoying all of it's peacefulness and beauty.

Where's Wanda? Isn't she a babe?
We didn't have many plans for the day so we just took our time walking and searching for treasures. Grandpa gave Alli a free ride and she thought that was great. Xander found a whole bag of treasures and Kennedy found about two. :) I love that everything is a treasure for Xander he thinks a stick, rock, or wrapper is worth saving.

We found somewhere to get a drink.

and Xander managed to get soaking wet of course.

We also found several of these little fellas.

The kids thought it would be so easy to catch one.
Kennedy even said "I didn't think catching a frog would be a big deal, but it is!"
We were not successful, but had a great time trying.

We played in boats and a wagon and walked around old houses. I think it is such a beautiful place and have gone back twice since. :) I am glad my in-laws are such great sports and endured the obstacle it took to get there.
Until next time
