I was not in the mood to get out of bed the other day but Alli was very insistent on it and I was pretty grumpy about it. As we started down the stairs Alli reached up and slipped her little hand in mine and it made my heart melt a little. I then said "Alli are we friends?" and she said "yeah, best friends" then my heart melted a lot! I am so glad she is willing to have such a grumpy best friend. I adore that little rascal!
Kennedy and I were going to a movie and I was running a bit late and went with my hair wet. Kennedy says to me as we are getting ready to go into the theatre:
k-"Why did you do your hair like that today?"
m-"Well I didn't have much time and I thought it would look okay like this."
k-"Oh"
m-"Do you not like it?"
k-"Well, I like it, but it looks kind of messy, but I do like it...... at least we will be in the dark."
m-"ummmm"
k-"Don't worry mom you can try again tomorrow."
Xander and Kennedy fight over the computer all day everyday. Derek came up and told them to share and be nice. It didn't work. He then said "come on guys be friends and share." Xander replied "We are family NOT friends!" Glad he cleared that one up. ;)

Brett & I got a kick out of this. It's funny what you'll kids will say to you sometimes. :o) I know Rylee will say things to me sometimes & I don't even know what to think..but all you can do is smile & laugh. :o)
